Shim’s family business began with small trading by Sim Yow Yin in 1915. 5 years later, he set up family owned first Sundry shop named “Heap Hing Loong” in Tras, Raub. In 1954, the Sundry shop business was taken over by 2nd generation, Shim Yit Keong and his sister Shim Guan Rong, it was renamed “Tai Lee”. The family business grew further, Shim Yit Keong opened another Sundry shop in Tras in 1965, while his sister continue to manage the shop in Sempalit. In 2000, Shim Yit Keong shifted his shop to Raub city district.
Tai Lee - Wawasan’s 3 generations transformation journey and success attribute to customers’ support, continuous strive for excellence, innovation and entreprenuership. The 3rd generation leaders aim to further transform the group business especially Property Development to next level become National Premier Boutique Developer.
